'Flats grow in value faster than all other properties'


A recent study, conducted by Halifax, revealed that flats have increased in value over the last decade by more than any other type of property. In fact, on average they have increased in value by a massive 60%. 

Growth has still been strong in other types of property. Over the same period of time the value of terraced homes has gone up by 41%, while semi-detached homes have increased by 32% and detached homes have increased by 21%. 

As you can see from these figures, all types of residential property have proved to be sound investments over the past decade. Flats, however, have outstripped their competitors in terms of appreciation.
